Suitcases are packed, bike tuned - cat sitter for Paola arranged - cameras charged and ready. Our trip begins Saturday morning when we leave Denver headed north for our first stop - Rapid City, South Dakota and a trip to Mount Rushmore. Sunday we drive to Clark, South Dakota, staying at Oak Tree Lodge, a family farm/hunting lodge owned by Tom's college fraternity brother - Bill Makens. (Check out their website at Oaktreefarm.com). Monday we head to Grand Rapids, Minnesota to meet the cycling group.
Our route was designed and planned by trip leader Jerry Divine. Other members of the group - Cheri Divine, Craig & Betty Robillard from Grand Junction, Chuck & Jane Olsen from Kansas City and Roy & Linda Goodwin from Frisco.
